Dr. Brown joined Caring Hands Healthcare Centers Family in September 2013 and became Medical Director in June 2014. He attended and graduated with honors from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in 1995, having over 21 years of diverse experience, especially in Internal Medicine. Dr. Brown is the proud father of 2, Blake and Bliss. He is also an avid skier and enjoys to read. Dr. Brown is available at our McAlester clinic Monday through Friday.
Susan is a Physician Assistant who received her Bachelors of Science at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Susan joined the Caring Hands Healthcare Centers Family in May of 2014. Susan’s interests include playing the piano, watching sports, reading devotionals, attending church and spending time with her husband Jeff. Susan is available at our Hartshorne office Monday through Thursday, and McAlester on Friday.
Linda Dodson, Nurse Practitioner, has been in the health care profession for 35 years. She graduated nursing schools in 1981 and worked in the hospital until 1991 when she graduated from West Texas University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. While attending the University of North Texas she also worked for the Texas Department of Health providing services for women and children until she graduated in 1994 as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Linda continued her education at West Texas A&M and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2002 and started providing services to all patients of all ages. She has experience in Primary Care, Emergency Rooms, Urgent Care, and Occupational Health and is even on the National Registry to perform DOT physical exams. In 2007 Linda moved to McAlester, Oklahoma and has since recently became a proud member of the Caring Hands Health Care Family providing services for pediatrics , prenatal care , women’s health and primary care.
Caring Hands Health Care Center would like to welcome Sydney Kellett, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, to our treatment care team. Sydney has proudly served consumers of all ages in the field of behavioral health for over twelve years . after graduating from Southeastern State University in Durant, OK in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology: Sydney became a behavioral health rehabilitation specialist and case manager. While in graduate school at Texas A&M University in Commerce TX Sydney worked in the drug and alcohol field completing her internship and graduating with a Master of Social Work Degree in 2010. Sydney has worked closely with the geriatric population as the program director for and intensive outpatient program. Sydney further works with both children and adults in private practice, in 2015 Sydney furthered her education at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany OK where she completed the qualifications to become a Registered Play Therapist.

Blake joined the Caring Hands Family in October 2016. She received her Dental Degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. She is a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Hunter enjoys going to the lake, cheering on the Thunder and OU. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, Michael and Halle. Blake is available at our McAlester office Tuesday and Wednesday.
Dr. Jan Julian joined the Caring Hands Family in January 2017. Jan grew up in Valliant and graduated from Valliant High in 1976. She pursued a degree in Microbiology at OU and received her DDS degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1984. In 1985, Dr. Julian opened a private practice in downtown Dallas, and practiced in the Dallas area until 2012. Jan joined New image Dental team in 2011, and recently relocated to McAlester from Garland, TX.
Dr. Julian has one daughter who is currently a student at Edward Via medical in Auburn. Jan loves to travel. She is available at our McAlester clinic Monday, Thursday and Friday.
Brian has lived in McAlester for 6 years. He and his wife Allison have 3 children: Axton, Roan, and Sophia. He has worked at McAlester Regional Health Center for 5 years as a Registered Dietician. He began working at Caring Hands Healthcare Centers in 2016 as an Outpatient Dietitian. Brian completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Brian completed his Dietetic internship at Texas A & M in Kingsville, Texas. This has been a great opportunity to reach more residents in the community and provide them nutrition counseling services. Brian is available at our McAlester clinic on Mondays.
