Work at Caring Hands
We're building a new healthcare facility in McAlester, and we're hiring the team that will fill it. Providers, nurses, and support staff: come do work your neighbors actually need.
We're Growing
A new building. New careers.
Caring Hands has cared for southeast Oklahoma since 2005. Today that means four clinics, nineteen providers, and primary care, women's health, pediatrics, behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy under one roof.
We're breaking ground on our new facility at 1825 E. Van Buren Avenue in August 2026. More room means more services, more patients, and more jobs. Joining now means helping decide how the new clinic works, not inheriting someone else's setup.
What We Offer Everyone
Benefits that hold up.
Health coverage
Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with CHHC paying the first $600 per month toward your premiums.
Real time off
248 hours of paid time off per year across vacation, holidays, and sick leave, plus a 40-hour annual Extended Illness Benefit.
Retirement match
403(b) retirement plan with an employer match of up to 3% every pay period.
Income protection
Company-paid long-term disability and $60,000 in basic life insurance, plus voluntary short-term disability, supplemental life, AD&D, and Aflac options.
Growth that's funded
Periodic performance reviews with merit increases. Providers get 40 paid CME hours and $3,000 in CME reimbursement each year.
Work that matters
Every patient gets care regardless of ability to pay. You go home knowing exactly why your work counted today.
For Providers
The math is different here.
Most job listings lead with salary. Ours leads with what you keep.
Student loan repayment, stacked
Caring Hands is a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) approved site. Our scores: primary care HPSA 18, dental 17, mental health 20, and a maternity care (MCTA) score of 21.
- Eligible physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants can pursue up to $75,000 in tax-free federal loan repayment for a two-year, full-time commitment, with continuation contracts after, subject to NHSC application and award.
- Eligible dentists and behavioral health clinicians: up to $50,000 on the same terms.
- Physicians can stack Oklahoma's rural physician program: up to $200,000 over four years through the state Health Care Workforce Training Commission.
- CHHC is a 501(c)(3), so every year here counts toward Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
- Registered nurses: CHHC qualifies as a Nurse Corps Critical Shortage Facility, with up to 85% of nursing school debt repayable over three years for awardees.
No malpractice premiums
Our providers are covered under the Federal Tort Claims Act. Depending on your specialty, that's worth tens of thousands of dollars a year, and for OB/GYN it's worth far more.
A schedule you can live with
Outpatient clinic medicine, predictable hours, and colleagues in behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy down the hall instead of across town.
